Tooling

Tooling is the key factor to produce good die casting parts. Every single detail must be analysed carefully and know-how should be implemented into tooling design with cross-functional team work. Alumina design experts uses latest technological CAD, CAE and CAM sofwares.

All tooling designs such as die casting tools, Trimming tools, Machining Fixtures, Gauges & etc. are done in-House. The die casting tools design validation is done with simulation software.

The Production of die casting tools till 1050t machine size is made internally while bigger sized tools are supplied from sub-suppliers according to Alumina design.

The prototype tools are produced internally within short lead times.

Alumina tool shop is equipped with cnc machining centers, cnc lathes, Die sinking edm, Wire edm, Surface grinders, universal machines & etc.
